Description
Rocks State Park is dog-friendly. Sprawling over 855-acres of rocky forest land, this picturesque park is rustic and relatively untouched, providing a scenic getaway for dogs and their owners. The main attractions for visitors are the King and Queen Seat, a spectacular 190-foot high rock outcrop overlooking Deer Creek that can only be accessed by climbing, and Kilgore Falls, which can be viewed from the 3.5 miles of trails that weave around the park. You'll also be able to access Deer Creek, a popular spot among anglers. Dogs are welcome to join you in the park, as long as they are on a leash under six feet and all mess is cleaned up after them. Rocks State Park is open March through October from 9am to sunset and November through February from 10am to sunset.
